NEWS: Impermanence defy the gods?

Mixed and mastered by Dahaka Productions Studio (Infernal Hate, Ambergaze) and conjoined for eternity to artwork from Alicja Michalec, a debut album titled “Anicca” from Polish Blackened Technical Progressive Death Metal act Impermanence will arrive on 16th October. That will be released in partnership between Greek label Satanath Records and their Croatian counterparts Sanatorio Records and having shared stages with the likes of Sceptic, Deathyard and Aeonian Sorrow the band are ready to raise hell once more. The second single is “Ascension Through Defiance” with pre-orders available over at bandcamp

Vocalist Mateusz Bednarz comments: “Ascension Through Defiance portrays another aspect of human weakness — this time through the prism of faith, beliefs, and manipulation. The background scenes in the lyric video, though simple, serve as a metaphorical allusion to the theme“.

The band add: “Anicca is a hymn to the fragility that marks our existence. The album’s name is derived from Buddhist terminology and signifies impermanence. The lyrical layer explores themes of transience and the search for purpose in the world around us. Songs begins and ends with the ticking of a clock, clearly marking both the start and the conclusion of the story being told. Each track presents a different narrative, offering a unique perspective on the somber aspects of human nature. This concept extends beyond the lyrics, shaping the band’s overall artistic identity.
