Interview: Dawnwalker talk “The Between” with Alec McKay!

As 24th October will see London Progressive Metal act Dawnwalker unveil a mammoth 32 minute long suite of experimental metal dubbed “The Between“, it seems only fair that they should talk to someone about it. So vocalist and guitarist Mark Norgate opened up to Toronto-based musician Alec McKay of Mirror Neuron and Beannachd Leibh in an interview in which they discuss their shared musical influences, what they’ve each been listening to this year and what the future holds for our musical projects. As far as Dawnwalker are concerned, the band have described their new offering as “a guided meditation through death and dying” which leans on ancient Eastern philosophies on life and death and pairs them with a modern existential despair… in cathartic fashion.
