NEWS: Premier Jester refuse the slow dance?

Rumours of a debut album set for Spring 2026 alongside an headlining release show for Electronicore outfit Premier Jester detailed on the tarot cards seem to be true. If new single “Slow Dance” is anything to go by, that as yet unnamed and undated album is going to smash EDM and Metalcore together like Electric Callboy, Waterlines and The Browning. Expect bouncy riffs, tongue-in-cheek lyricism, crushing breakdowns and ridiculously catchy hooks – all delivered with infectious, unfiltered joy.

Co-vocalist Jimmy Martin shares an insight into the track’s creation: “I created an emotional set of chords which I thought wouldn’t be of any use to PJ, but realised it’d be fun to turn it into something upbeat lyrically. We thought we’d lean into the awkward side of love and think back to meeting (or failing to meet!) crushes at dances and gigs growing up.”
