NEWS: War Grave return to the Wild West!

Continuing the fear campaign around their new album “Free Will“, Traditional Heavy Metal act War Grave offer taste the dust, gunsmoke and blood with a music video for “Light ‘Em Up“.  Produced by Charlie Wilson Jnr. (Torchbearer, Graven Image) and adorned by artwork from long term War Grave collaborator Heribertus M Miftakhuddin, aka Speedwhore (Dead House, Sunsetter) the album has all the soaring vocals, blistering riffs, deft rhythm work and mind blowing solos you could wish for and then some.

The band commented: “‘Light ‘Em Up’ follows the doomed ride of a Wild West bandit and his crew, lured into one final score, a train heist promised to set them up for life. Guns drawn and masks on, they take the gold and run. For a moment, it feels like they’ve won. But the dust never settles for long. The sheriff is close behind, and one by one, they’re hunted down and killed. The promise of wealth turns hollow as the cost becomes clear. ‘Light ‘Em Up’ is a tale of greed, betrayal, and the fleeting nature of glory. A bloodstained question hangs in the air: was it ever worth it, just for gold? As for the video itself, that was inspired by Steve’s love of cartoon The Lone Ranger as a child and his grandad’s love of a good old western film. The idea was to create an interactive way of not only telling, but showing the story of this epic tune.”
