NEWS: Diespnea prepare us for “Radici”!

The writing partnership of multi instrumentalist and vocalist duo Wolke and Anxitudo perhaps netter known as Avant-Garde Black Metal outfit Diespnea have forewarned of a sophomore album in “Radici” which is slated for a 13th February arrival via Italian cult label Code666. Rooted in the atmospheres, colors, and warm ruggedness of an imaginary South, far from the usual northern influences, these roots sink into a hot, arid, rocky landscape – a place where the air tastes of dust and the light forces your eyes half-shut beneath a blinding sun. Perhaps that means that the album stands as a work with a unique, unmistakable character, boldly diverging from every cliché and convention of the genre. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

The band comment: “This record is the result of years of experiments, different influences and deep questionings of one-self. We like to think that roots are not only there to anchor us to the ground, but that in the darkness they reach out to find our kindred.
