Bootleg: “Part of the Friction” from SikTh!
As the 20th anniversary shows for “The Death Of A Dead Day” by SikTh approach the band have entered Marshall Studios to record a rendition of “Part of the Friction” directed and edited by Ali White. Whether that means the Progressive Metal band will record a new album with the original line up for a 2027 release remains to be seen but there have been hints from vocalist Mikee Goodman about more to follow…
Speaking on the shows, Mikee Goodman shares: “We are excited to perform Death of a Dead Day on its 20th anniversary with Justin Hill singing this album live for the first time ever, alongside myself and the rest of the band. We’re looking forward to playing it in its entirety. Also, for those who may not know – Justin Hill is back in the band. He is, and we’re planning to get busier from next year onwards.”
Those shows look like this:
26/02 – Manchester, Academy 2
28/02 – London, O2 Forum Kentish Town
