NEWS: Legionary judge the judges?

Adorned by artwork from the legendary Mark Cooper (Vulvodynia, Rings Of Saturn, Carrion Vael) having been mixed and mastered by Mike Low (Aborted, Inferi, Shadow Of Intent), a new album from New Jersey-based, Melodic Death Thrash outfit Legionary awaits. Set for a 6th March release “Never-Ending Quest for Purpose” was engineered by Ben Karas (Thank You Scientist, Slaughtersun, Windfaerer) who also performs violin on a song titled “Story Without Closure“. As if that wasn’t enought to get excited about that news comes accompanied by an obligatory first signle in “If the Judges Beame the Judged“. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

Multi-instrumental, composer, and founder, Frank D’Erasmo comments: “This new album is a continuation of the path we took on our last EP, “Prison Realm”. For fans of that EP, this new album is in that style again, but on steroids! Things sound heavier, more epic, and more massive on this album. All of the same guys from the last release have returned, including vocalist Chris Clancy (As I Lay Dying, Invictus, Mutiny Within) and lead guitarist Tony Barhoum (Chaos Sanctuary, Condition Critical), but the big addition this time around was mix engineer, Mike Low. Things have never sounded this BIG on a Legionary release!“
