NEWS: Dyecrest announce fifth album “Defying Gravity”!

Mixed at Matalapaine Studios by Miitri Aaltonen who handled their 2018 record “Are You Not Entertained?” and mastered at Finnvox Studios by Mika Jussila (Voidfallen, The Raven Age, Swallow the Sun), a fifth studio album from Finnish Melodic Metal act Dyecrest is on the horizon. Adorned by artwork from Sami Romppainen (Grey Sky Bleed) and given the title “Defying Gravity“, it has been given a 24th April release date via Art Gates Records with two previously released singles already online. See? We can do this without making a Wicked joke…

The band comment: “Defying, grounding and balancing ourselves within the shape of the world as it is today. The world contains many things that simply are. Is everything really as we have always imagined? Not everything has an explanation. This sounds as we had imagined plus much more! This is the sound that we built together. Versatile and atmospheric.
