NEWS: The Fifth Alliance pity the fool…

Having introduced new vocalist Natalya Thelen (ex-Yantras) and drummer Peter Scheffer (Soliton) with first single “Phoenix“, now The Fifth Alliance reveal “The Fool on the Hill” a second new track taken from their forthcoming album “Stenahoria“. Recorded by Lander Cluyse at Hearse Studio in Belgium and mixed and mastered by Mendel bij de Leij (ex-Aborted), the promise is of an album defined by massive, crushing riffs, icy atmospheres and an overwhelming sense of bleakness, drawing the listener into an intense sonic journey through distress and introspection. It will arrive on 28th April via a three way split between Tartarus Records, Ardua Music, and Breathe Plastic…

The band comment: “With ‘The Fool on the Hill,’ we explore the defiant clarity of choosing your own path, even when the world insists on misunderstanding you. The song channels the emotional rawness that defines Stenahoria, turning solitude and stubborn hope into a source of strength. Musically, it balances vulnerability and force, capturing the push and pull between quiet resolve and intense passion. Natalya’s performance lays that tension bare, embodying the courage to keep walking when doubt surrounds you. ‘The Fool on the Hill’ is for the ones who see differently — and refuse to look away.”
