NEWS: Death Dealer Union: when the nail becomes the hammer…

It seems that new album and twelve months of touring are on the horizon for Los Angeles based Death Dealer Union as they announce a new line up with a cover of “Square Hammer” by Ghost. Whether the song makes the grade for the record is a closely guarded secret but it serves as an introduction to new vocalist Kay Bellows who replaces Lena Scissorhands of Infected Rain. Produced by Max Morton (Arch Enemy, Ignea, Inner Missing), a new album titled “Dark Sister” with a Spring or Summer of 2026 release said to be on the tarot cards.

The band comment: “We didn’t want to just cover ‘Square Hammer’… we wanted to take this iconic, inspiring track and make it our own, while introducing our new vocalist, Kay Bellows! Taking the DNA of Ghost and rebuilding it through the lens of Death Dealer Union. Respect the original. Redefine the energy… This is Death Dealer Union’s ‘Square Hammer’. We want to thank Lena Scissorhands for her time with the band and we extend our best to Hunter Havokk and Jonny Heinz as they move forward in their endeavors. They will always remain an integral part of the evolution of Death Dealer Union.”
