NEWS: Maneating Orchid enter the void!

A second single from the third album by Indian Progressive Metal meets Mathcore entity, the artists formerly known as Orchid has arrived in “Void Engine“. Now known as Maneating Orchid, the group have made their name in the avant-garde brand of Extreme Metal with dense, dissonant riffing, abrasive vocals and song structures that collapse and mutate in real time. The next step down the left hand path for them is “Cold Logic” which is set for a 5th June release via Subcontinental Records. Pre-orders are available over at bandcamp

The band comment: “Void Engine: Sonically, “Void Engine” channels manic punk energy before warping into dense, technical riffage, culminating in a massive, obliterating outro that leaves you suspended in a dissolving void. Thematically, it explores a vast, unknowable machine buried in deep space that seems to shape the very fabric of reality. This Lovecraftian mechanism endlessly churns out existence without purpose or intent, reducing life to a byproduct of an indifferent, eternal process.”
