NEWS: Lugosi whisper sweet sorrows with Kate?

Drawing from the poisoned well of Post-Hardcore, Noise-Rock and Screamo, French Hardcore Punks Lugosi put emotion first and write intense music driven by raw, sharp edges lyrics. Mastered by Alan Douches (Baroness, Mastodon, Cannibal Corpse) and with a saxophone solo by Patrick Shiroishi (The Armed) they have a sophomore album in “The Scars” set for an 18th September arrival with second single “Kate Whispers“ now everywhere that’s good.

Vocalist Pieriv Ruys: “This song is about another song, sung by a certain Kate. It shouldn’t be too hard to track it down. I wanted to pay tribute to the songs that save your life when you’re in the dark. It’s also a love song, or rather, a song about what lies beyond love. When you can no longer stay together, when communication has broken down, but you can’t bring yourselves to say goodbye and you’re trying to build something else. Love has many shades. It’s painful, but there are always songs that save your life.”
