NEWS: Fervence have an eye on the prize?

Austin Texas based Progressive Metalcore outfit Fervence have unleashed a music video for “Oculum” from their recently released via Metal Blade Records album “Constructs“. Mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren (Machine Head, Warbringer, Sworn Enemy) it was written in quiet contemplation of what it is to be human during 2025 with a conscious effort to leave more space for the vocals to explore melodies and focused on composition, mood, song structure and building up to big choruses.

Guitarist Trent Odneal: “This song draws a lot of inspiration from the grittiness in Deftones‘ self-titled album. I really tried to make it feel dark, abrasive, human if you will, while maintaining a cinematic undertone, without overdoing it.”
