NEWS: Agenbite Misery unveil “Cascara Sagrada”!

They say that misery loves company so perhaps that’s why Extreme Metal visionaries Agenbite Misery are an unholy trinity. Drawing heavily from avant-garde peers like Pyrrhon and Convulsing, the trio have created a concept album in “Remorse of Conscience” that adapts every chapter of “Ulysses” by James Joyce into a standalone sonic experience. Single “Cascara Sagrada” offers a glimpse at what that might look like with its non-traditional structure, technical ambition and uniquely dissonant atmosphere and if there is something familiar about it then that is with good reason. Guitarist Sam Graff and drummer Adam Richards have been longtime collaborators with Under Green Suns and Vicarium while bassist Cam Netland previously fronted Coagulate – and they all partake in the vocals.
