NEWS: Armed For Apocalypse have fists like feathers!

Recorded once again with Kurt Ballou (Converge, Nails, Gatecreeper) at God City Studios, Armed For Apocalypse are set to unveil their fourth album “The Earth Is Breathing Beneath Me” via Church Road Records on 24th April 2026. That news comes with the obligatory first single “Fists Like Feathers” and is being described as a towering, grooved-out, Post-Metal monolith carved from grief, power and purpose from a band with Doom, Hardcore and Sludge Metal in their very DNA.

The band comment: “This album is bleak. It’s got dissonance and aggression and every song carries a sense of melancholy and density beneath the surface. But there are also moments of meditation, and even signs of optimism woven in that make it feel like a true reflection of who we are as people. We’ve heard it our whole career. You guys are too nice to be in a heavy band. But the music is why we’re happy. It’s how we stay alive.”
