NEWS: Northborn reveal artwork for forthcoming album!

Introducing new drummer Felix Wahlund (Eternal Evil, Nazghor, Riket) a self titled debut album from Swedish Melodic Death Metal force Northborn, a record forged in isolation, sharpened by ambition and driven by epic intent is on the horizon. A DIY or DIE affair it was recorded independently in each member’s home studio, reflecting both modern adaptability and focused craftsmanship before being mixed by guitarist Tobey Lagerqvist. A release date of 22nd May has been hinted at for the follow up to 2024 EP “Hymn of the North Star” which is adorned by artwork created by Olga Kann (Withered Land, Monumentum Damnati, Aeon of Awareness).

The band comment: “This album is a wild journey through majestic riffs and epic storytelling. It blends melodic death metal with symphonic grandeur in a beautiful union. Every song is a unique experience for the listener, and still it will present a seamless journey through the album. Every melody will immerse and bewitch the listener so that they will be transported to the setting and mood each song represents, and they’ll want to experience this feeling from the albums start to the last song again and again.”
