Described as an exploration of the ancient and mystical roots of Ukraine and the unbreakable spirit of a land shaped by historical trials and an unwavering belief in Ukraine’s physical and existential victory, Folk Metal band Orathania will see their debut album “Echo Of Freedom” unveiled by Archivist Records on 3rd April. The project partners Borgvarr together with Varggoth and Karpath from the original line-up of Nokturnal Mortum with the aim of bringing together traditional Ukrainian elements and heavy music without separating the two into “folk” and “metal” so both are treated as one language. “Nashe Svitlo” or “Our Light” is the second single.
