A partnership between Broken Curfew Records and Rottweiler Records has continued to bear fruit with a lyric video for “The Absence Of Light” by  Mangled Carpenter surfacing online. Hailing from Monterey, California the trio create in the Bermuda triangle of space between the genres of Death Metal, Deathgrind and Deathcore, the track confronting the popular narrative that evil is centralized in visible cultural power centers like Hollywood. Instead, the song dismantles that idea and exposes something more uncomfortable: corruption begins in the human heart, not in a city or industry.
