NEWS: Tomb Slab: loyal to the soil!

When The Atrocity Exhibit guitarist James Caygill and The Infernal Sea vocalist Dean Lettice discovered their mutual admiration for the anarchic, angry sludge of bands like Iron Monkey and Eyehategod they always knew they would do a project together. Joined by Oneiros bassist John Hunter and Shrykull drummer Kez Whelan their initial ideas were evolved into Tomb Slab, a beast of soul crushing Doom and Sludge Metal.  Recorded, mixed and mastered by Ian Boult (Mage, Abduction, Shrykull) at Stuck On A Name Studios in Nottingham, their self titled debut album will arrive via Road To Masochist on 17th July. First taste? “What’s Below, Remains Below” is now screaming from beyond the grave!
