NEWS: Perpetual Warfare warn of the power of the state!
The second piece of a collectable double A-side 7” vinyl, limited to 300 on bone coloured copies has arrived via M-Theory Audio from Bogotá, Colombia riff lords Perpetual Warfare in “N.N. 6402“. It follows “Nihil Sumus” out of hell’s gate with rumours of a full length album circling like vultures. Both tracks represent the bands first studio material since lead guitarist Camilo Solórzano signed up in 2022, their last record being 2019 EP “Hellhounds“.
Guitarist Camilo Muñoz: “’N.N. (6402)’ tells a story that Colombia’s power elites have tried to hide. We are bringing it to light — no censorship, no curtains, just the reality that many Colombians lived through. No one can erase history. This song is a tribute to all the victims of what we consider a state policy of genocide, people like you and me killed by the power of state.”
Perpetual Warfare have some festival appearances lined up before the end of the year:
10/24: United For Thrash Fest – Lourdes Music Hall – Bogota, Colombia w/ Violator, Fueled By Fire
10/25: Festival SuaRock, Parque Principal de Soacha, Colombia, co-headlining with Spanish band Obus.
11/07: Festival Salinas Rock – Catedral de Sal de Zipaquira, Colombia (headliners)
11/12-13: Festival Galeras Rock – Plaza de Bolivar, Pasto, Colombia
