NEWS: Shrapnel Storm know a snake when they see one!

Old School Death Metal act Shrapnel Storm have returned with a riveting new single “The Only Snake Here Is You“. Hailing from Tampere in Finland and specialising in skull crushing mid-tempo flavours akin to Bolt Thrower and Frozen Soul, mixed in with ruthless thrash components of speed and groove, this one is the first of a wave of no less than eleven new cuts. Returning to the tried and tested, recording, mixing and mastering of new album “Silo” was executed by the man at the helm for the bands previous two albums – 2015’s “Mother War” and 2020’s self tiled – Mr Daniel Rantanen at Danko Tones / JR Audio Studios. He completed the work in the first half of 2023 with a digipack pre-order available over at bandcamp.

Band’s guitarist Tri Makitalo gave his comments about the new single: “Speed! Danger! Snakes! Are these the main ingredients for a great song? As it comes to me, I say yes! The song is one of the fastest in the new album, and I could say it is some kind of exit from our typical mid-tempo comfort zone. Beware, this is going to hit fast and hard!”
