The band comment: “The Greater Sublimations of Cosmic Panic tells a story of a spacecraft’s crewmember who gets left behind in space. The Eye of the Necrocosm is an entity that tirelessly guards the liminal space between universes and monitors its territory in case of intruders. According to Lovecraftian tradition, anyone that meets the gaze of the Eye shall succumb to sheer unreasonable terror. The protagonist of the song faces his final moment, being left behind and abandoned amidst the aether, while this ageless being breaks his mind once and for all.”
