NEWS: Martikor rattle and hum…

Combining dark atmospheric elements with the heaviness that comes with extreme music, San Francisco Post-Metal trio Martikor expose influences of Sludge, Black and Doom Metal as they rise from the abyss with sophomore album “Acedia“. That will arrive on 12th April with another dark new tune to help you breathe more easily premiering in “Soothing Rattle“. Originally a solo project, they have evolved into a full band with members of Felsenmirror and Glacial Fall joining the ranks.

The band comments: “Soothing Rattle” is about the dark moments that we all experience. For me personally, it explores moments of doubt and instability. While they can be tormenting, I’ve come to see them as soothing and liberating when viewed from a different perspective. It’s like meditating through pain! This juxtaposition is the inspiration behind “Soothing Rattle”.
