NEWS: Silk Spinster are livin’ after midnight?

Having got to the finals of Metal 2 The Masses for a chance to play the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock and survived to tell the tale, Silk Spinster have launched a new single in “Midnight“. Combining the theatrics of Mad Max and Friday the 13th movies for the accompanying music video, the Hull outfit continue to fuel their cult status. That was earned by playing Motorcycle clubs as well as an RAF airbase in East Yorkshire, sharing stages with Mother Vulture, Liberty Slaves, and Contortion.

The band comment:  “This is an ode to horror films of the 1980s and other similar songs of the same period such as The Ripper and Killers by Judas Priest and Iron Maiden respectively. A fanciful tale of seeing red which keeps its tongue firmly in its cheek”.
