NEWS: Ice Exiled announce “Reset The Sky”!
Finnish Metal band Ice Exiled have released music video for a rendition of a cut titled “Anthropocentrum (Set Me Free)” that will not be the version that appears on their album “Reset The Sky” when 29th November rolls around. Instead of choosing the album version that surpasses eight minutes, a shorter, four-and-a-half-minute version that follows a traditional verse-chorus-verse structure was crafted for the single. Vocalist Miika Matilainen explains: “These are like two different songs, both have their place and, in our opinion, work well. The longer version will be on our upcoming album”
The band comment: “Anthropocentrum takes its name from the Anthropocene, an era defined by a human footprint. The song places human perspective inside an animal. While another species’ experience is beyond us, we have no reason to believe that their feelings of pain, loss, or despair are in any way less than ours. These emotions, along with hope and love, are explored in this track through emotive and powerful music”
