NEWS: Smoke Rites from Poland with love!

Inspired by bands like Black Sabbath, Crowbar and High on Fire Polish Stoner Metal crew Smoke Rites formed in fall of 2020 in the city of Warsaw. 2021 saw debut EP “The Rite of The Smoke” emerge and a year later a debut album “Total Lung Capacity” continued the idle worship. Three years on an unnamed and undated sophomore album is set to appear in September with “Death is a Five Letter Words” the first single. It features a guest vocal appearance from Monika Adamska-Guzikowska of Toń fame and is accompanied by artwork from Bartek Bartol…

The band comment:  “It’s a song about the face of our commonplace death, lurking in blank stares and small human dramas. The face of mortality can be banal, tired, sad, lonely or frightening. It is present everywhere and always.”
