NEWS: Baelfyr extinguish vanity!

Set to perform at Bloodstock Open Air Festival this summer Extreme Metal act Baelfyr have announced a seven track  album titled “Empowered By Hatred” for 8th August. That news comes with an obligatory single in “At The Mercy Of A Vain God“, a track which doubles as the opener on the record, which has a lyrical focus based around mental health, abuse, and the way in which we treat the world.

The band comment: “We wanted to create something that retained the rawness and nastiness of the genre but to pull back on some of the aspects present in modern metal, so you won’t find any shredding solos or 300bpm double kicks. Instead, we’ve made an effort to concentrate on memorable riffs and a meaty, and some might say old school, sound.”
