NEWS: Thorndale fight the good fight?

If you haven’t already heard, Dutch Stoner Doom Metal outfit Thorndale have chosen 12th September to unveil their sophomore album “Spiritual Chains”. Mixed and mastered by Rickard Bengtsson and Stafan Karlsson at Sweetspot Studios in Halmstad, Sweden (Arch Enemy, Spiritual Beggars) and featuring a guest solo from Jeff Henson of Duel on “Exiles and Masters“, the six track affair is the follow up to their critically acclaimed 2024 debut “Lightning Spawn“. Recorded locally in Austin, Texas; Scarborough, Ontario and Haarlem and Den Haag, Netherlands across 2024 and 2025 by Gustavo Valderrama (Killing Darlings, Headcrusher, Adarrak), Peter Shannon (Primal Charge), Maarten Jungschläger (Embers of Oblivion, Epinikion), and Zigor Munoz (Adarrak, Ferkaad) with guest drummer Rob Stone, “Battles Fought In Vain” is the second single.

The band comment: “We go through Life struggling with the things we tell ourselves are important. Only to realise when Death comes that none of that mattered.”
