NEWS: Following The Signs get stuck in place?
Ahead of imminent shows, Irish Nu-Metalcore outfit Following The Signs have offered up the first single from a forthcoming EP. Titled “Stuck In Place”, the track captures everything the band are about with their signature riffs, towering breakdowns, searing screams and atmospheric cleans, all channelled into a visceral soundscape that reflects the chaos and hope within the lyrics.
Vocalist Alan Jevens comments: “When I wrote ‘Stuck In Place’ I was thinking about the modern world, where we are now and what I believe is to come. The verses reflect the frustration of working endlessly just to survive in such an expensive time, while pointing to the corruption of governments and the consequences of unchecked greed. The chorus speaks of what lies ahead, nuclear war, environmental collapse, but also the need to rise against those in power. The song travels through despair, rebellion, and the dream of a better world, tying into the broader narrative of our upcoming EP Evolve.”
