NEWS: HyperioN tell tale of “Cybergenesis”!

Combining Traditional Heavy Metal with science fiction, Italian quintet HyperioN are set to return with a third studio album in “Cybergenesis“. A concept record with a bold storyline, it’s been preceded by opener “Deafening” and is pencilled in for 15th January via Fighter Records.

The storyline follows a daring expedition into a space-time rift which ends in disaster, awakening the Choir, an ancient alien hive mind from an alternate dimension, and plunging humanity into a desperate war for survival. On an Earth enslaved by the Choir’s army of cyborgs, a former commander is reborn as the Rhizome Rider, leading a rebellion from within and sacrificing himself to free humanity.
