Throwback: “Anthem for the Unemployable” by If Hope Dies!

Syracuse New York Metalcore quintet If Hope Dies slammed down the gauntlet with a trio of albums starting with 2002’s “Siege Equipment For Spiritual Decline” and ending with 2005’s “Life In Ruin“. That final record, produced by the legendary Jason Suecof at Audio Hammer Studios and released via Metal Blade Records is a demonstration of Metalcore at it’s finest with single “Anthem for the Unemployable” at its very heart. They’re still out there and they’re still playing shows and what’s more, they’ve actually put out some old music as recently as 22nd May 2020. Teaming up with Sakers Music, they’ve released an early years anthology “Amongst The Catacombs Of Auburn, NY (1998-2001)” and a deluxe edition of “Siege Equipment For Spiritual Decline” with 5 demos from that era available for the first time, everywhere that is good. Heroes never die.
