NEWS: Consecration redefine darkness with “Cinis”?

After November witnessed their reanimation Norwich purveyors of darkness Consecration have been an outfit whom we’ve been waiting patiently for the next move from and with “The Dweller In The Tumulus” that patience has been rewarded handsomely. What’s more, that’s just the tip of the iceberg as the band who brought us such grim and grotesque moments as “Gut The Priest” and “Fragilium” have delved deep within their souls and created “Cinis“, an album which takes its name from a Latin word meaning ‘cold ashes’ and is associated with death, destruction and ruin that on this evidence will tear its way into the mouldering corpse of ancient Death Metal, breaking its hallowed bones beneath a world’s weight of doomed dreams. Including a guest appearance from the legendary Dave Ingram (Benediction, ex-Bolt Thrower) on “Ground To Ashes (A Cremulation)“, the album drops via Redefining Darkness Records on 17th June, ushering in a new age of darkness with pre-orders available here.
