The Black Map #217: Shoot To Kill from London!

…with the first wave of bands being announced for Rabidfest 2022 in November, it’s a curiosity that this week we open Pandora’s box on a band we witnessed live for the first time at last year’s incarnation of the event which just so happened to be their live debut. The band in question are Shoot To Kill, who claim our capital city as their domain and the Pheonix Bar in High Wycombe as their home, something that may seem a little strange but there isn’t anything wrong with having two houses as any Politician will tell you. The quintet may have only been around a couple of years but in that short time they have managed a pair of singles in “Plague” and “Torment” which have made them a lot of friends and opened the doors to the quintet sharing stages with Tyrants, Depravity and The Five Hundred to name but a few with a searing combination of Hardcore, Metalcore and Nu-Metal thrown into a blender before being refined in the fire. Those songs have seen them pull no punches, finding them with an axe to grind as what goes around comes around and karma is a bitch when it comes to things like bullying. So if you like your Metal cocktail fierce and personal then look no further…
