NEWS: Fulci premier “Cemetery / Nightmare” video!

Ahead of an East Coast US tour that starts in a matter of days, Italian Death Metallers Fulci have premiered the new video for “Cemetery / Nightmare” directed by Tanner McCardle. The cut appears on their current album “Exhumed Information“, mastered Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Soulfly, Tomb Mold) which continues the paradigmatic experience of the band as a tribute to (cult Italian film director) Lucio Fulci’s filmography. The album is a concept based on the 1991’s “Voices from Beyond”, a low budget horror film with a peculiar dark aura.

The band comment: “In 2019 shooting the video for ‘Legion of the Resurrected’ together with Tanner McCardle was so much fun and inspiring, that’s why we immediately proposed him to collaborate on a new video as soon as we released our latest album ‘Exhumed Information’. Since we were distant (California/Italy), we wrote the story by email, sending each other ideas and references. That’s how the video for ‘Cemetery / Nightmare’ was born. The inspiration for the music video comes from the film ‘Voci Dal Profondo’ by Lucio Fulci and it includes references to the ‘giallo’ genre and to some typical Italian funeral folklore. The whole thing was shot through the eyes of a Californian director.

After these two years of forced stop due to the worldwide pandemic we are looking forward to performing live for our USA fan base. We have prepared a solid live set including songs taken from ‘Tropical Sun’ and ‘Exhumed Information’. The show will be supported by visuals inspired by some Lucio Fulci cult movies. We will play the main cities of the east cost but we are already thinking of coming back to the USA to tour the west coast and south/central areas very soon“.
