NEWS: Candlemass fear the reaper?

As impending doom at the hands of a Sweet Evil Sun approaches on 18th November, Candlemass have offered us one final preview of the terror that awaits in the form of a lyric video with illustrations by Costin Chioreanu from Twilight13media for “When Death Sighs” and on this evidence, Nuclear Blast must be licking their lips like the Wolf in the story of Little Red Riding Hood at the prospect of getting this one out there…

Leif Edling comments on the new album: “Sweet Evil Sun is about hope, striving, adoration and failure. It’s about all the personal battles that you have, but also the never-ending decay of humanity. The record took over a year to make and there’s not a bad track on it! We had a fantastic time recording it and are really looking forward to the release. It’s Doom, It’s Metal!
