Celebrating the release of their new album “Firecry” via Moribund Records this weekend, Newfoundland Canadian Traditional Heavy Metal masters Category VI have shared a music video for one of its finer points in “Coven“. Blending elements of Thrash and Power Metal into it the band follow up 2017’s “War is Hell” in the finest possible way and even throw in a cover of the Heart classic “Barracuda”…

The band comment: “Bassist Keith Jackman wrote this song, and is his first lyrical contribution. This song is about our band seducing people into our witch lair and all of a sudden it turns into an oven, we essentially want to eat you up! At its core, unapologetic, the concept of this album is about the burning of witches historically, but also, how we are still being “burned” after all of these years”
