NEWS: Raze drop first new cut in four years in “Better Off Alone”!
Channel their groove metal influences to the fullest, Raze have shared their first single in five years in “Better Off Alone” and one which is said to be the first from a debut full length album “Pyrography“. Recorded across a two year period by the band’s vocalist Louis Dunham at his own Black Seraph Studios it has appeared prior to the bands appearance in the heats of Metal 2 The Masses for the opportunity to take to the New Blood stage of Bloodstock Open Air Festival. The show will take place at The Craufurd Arms in Milton Keynes on 23rd March where they will be competing against Kayner, Devils Ransom and Drownd.
“We wrote Better Off Alone within the first few weeks of [my] joining Raze” recounts guitarist Dan Eveleigh. “We were having a jam and I started playing the main riff [to the song] – instantly it clicked and we got to work shaping it into the first song written for the album”
“We started playing together and it just worked, it just grooved, ” adds drummer Ethan Morter. “By the end of the session the song was pretty much written”
