NEWS: Elder Devil open up on grief…

Why do we love and why does that love leave? That is the question at the heart of the upcoming new album “Everything Worth Loving” from Fresno California Grindcore unit Elder Devil. With the passing of his mother at the forefront of his mind, vocalist Stephen Muir took meticulous car in inking the lyrics for the bands sophomore full length, tinged with personal loss and a sense of displacement to create an uneasy rumination on grief. Guitarist and primary song writer Jacob Lee (Hellish Form, Keeper, PlasticBag FaceMask) once again handled production, recording and mixing with mastering duties going to Jacob Plotkin (Cave In, Old Man Gloom, Street Sects). That has resulted in 13 tracks of coruscating grindcore and apoplectic sludge for the lover of extreme music. Pre-orders for the 16th June release via Prosthetic Records are available over at bandcamp.
