NEWS: Vansidian prepare for what lurks in the shadows?

What does the combination of Melodic Death Metal, classical 80’s Heavy Metal and retro video game inspired melodies sound like? That’s the sound which Tampere Finland based quintet Vansidian have gone for with their upcoming new album “Reflecting the Shadows“. Set for release on 19th May via Inverse Records it follows a quartet of singles that have amassed more than 52k of Spotify streams alone, the first taste of the album being “Cycle“.

The band comments: “The song is one of the more ravaging tracks on the album and shakes the boundaries of the listener’s reality. Musically, the song is powerful and epic in Vansidian’s style, but especially the super catchy chorus sets it apart from other band’s releases. The narrator, who moves between the past and the future, tries to correct the flow of time in his favor. In his desperation, he travels through time and eventually believes he might find the right path”
