NEWS: Trounce chase the Goose and the Swan?

Swiss Alt Metal band Trounce have released a new single “The Goose and the Swan (Live at Roadburn)“, a live version of a cut taken from their upcoming debut album “The Seven Crowns + Live at Roadburn“. That will see merciful release on 20th October via Hummus Records, a label founded by Jonathan Nido, guitarist of Coilguns and has already given us a single in “The Wheel“. Pre-orders available in a variety of formats here.

“This track is a great example of why we decided to release both the studio and live albums together. Originally, it wasn’t planned for the live setlist because the studio version has some really fast blast beats, and since the lineup for the studio and live performances was different, we couldn’t reproduce the song live with Luc Hess on drums. So, what we did was keep the same riffs, lyrics, and structures, and Luc Hesswrote a new drum part for the entire song. It gives the live version a more punk and -core vibe compared to the studio version. This song also features the most epic chorus of the whole album, including a very cheesy (but loveable) guitar solo.
