NEWS: Headspawn return to hate!

Continuing a heatwave of Metal music from Brazil this week, Headspawn have unleashed “Everybody Hates Somebody” from their upcoming debut album. The single appears just over a month after the track listing and artwork reveal for “Parasites” which is set for 17th November, from which you can expect funky grooves, metal and Brazilian rhythms…

The band comment: “Eight billion creatures agonize in a devastated and desolate world, where the ruthless dominion of two thousand billionaires prevails, while over eight hundred million starving beings wither in their anguish. Seven billion human beings are enslaved by a cruel system that sows misery and cultivates dehumanization, fueling the unsustainable lifestyle of a decadent elite, while suffocating the chances of survival for the entire species.

Relationships are now reduced to a morbid parasitism, where the human spirit metamorphoses into a decrepit aberration, and a false rule of survival turns life into a cruel hunt for a vulnerable host. Endless hordes of parasites, created by the system, roam outside, propagating their degeneration and corroding the essence of humanity.

In “Parasites,” the sons of Caatinga narrate the dreadful experience of surviving in a hostile and gloomy world, witnessing the chaos while being consumed by the scorching heat of the Land of the Sun, where hope and redemption are mere faded illusions
