NEWS: Miara have the will to dominate!

Having finished as finalists in the Wacken Metal Battle in May, Bologna Italy based Melodic Death Metal band Miara have announced their debut album “Hungering inside” will arrive on 17th November via Finnish record label Inverse Records. Founded in 2022 by brothers Antonio (guitars) and Francesco (bass) during the pandemic with a need to give voice to the feeling of precariousness and impotence that the world was going through in that period, their first single “Ascending to Second Life” which was released in February 2022 with influences from the Gothenburg Melodic Death Metal sound in evidence. While that well received cut doesn’t make the grade for the album, a pair of singles in “You Still Remain” and “My Will Dominates” have surfaced from the nine that do. Antonio Grillo, guitarist and founder of the band comments: “The song is a hymn to determination, to the pursuit of one’s goals, to motivation but also to lucid awareness of the commitment necessary to reach the much coveted goal. I am very proud of the path taken so far. Although the project was born a few months ago, we found a fantastic harmony that led us to prepare 9 songs in a relatively short time. We know that the road is still long but I am sure that we will be able to obtain great satisfaction.”
