NEWS: Goatburner bring the blender to hammer horror!

Known for their work in Rotten Sound, Morbid Evils, Age Of Woe, Ratface and Skulmagot, Keijo “Kaos” Niinimaa and Jaakko “Spider” Forsman join forces in Helsinki Finland based  Goatburner. Their formula for Old School Death Metal with a twist of Sludge and Grind demonstrated over a trio of releases so far will be repeated on their sophomore album “Fatal“. Written in between 2019 and 2022, slowly and steadily and mostly at the rehearsal sessions, the album was recorded and mixed by Kaos at Chaotic Doom Cave studios from May 2022 to November 2022 and mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound Studios (Suffocation, Misery Index, King Parrot) in early 2023. That will surface on 6th October via Time To Kill Records with “Blender Bender” evidence, pre-orders including vinyl and cassette editions are available over at bandcamp.

Drummer Jaakko “Spider” Forsman: “‘Blender Bender’ is one of the longer songs on the album. Riffs and structure was written during one night at Kaos’s [guitarist and vocalist Keijo Niinimaa] home studio and the final form got together quickly as well during the next rehearsals. Lyrics are following the album concept, this one focusing on a fatal accident while using a blender.”
