NEWS: Meryl Streep not harmed in the making of the new Silva single “Death (My Becoming)”!

After unveiling the album title track last month, ahead of the release of their debut album “Forgotten Sanctuary” via Black Lion Records on 20th October, Minneapolis Blackened Melodic Death Metal act Silva has released a lyric video for “Death (My Becoming)“. An album with lyrical themes ranging from cognitive behavior, nature, philosophy and metaphors of modern society with influences from the sounds of Swedish and Polish scenes, it is adorned by artwork from Stefan Todorović of Khaos Diktator Design. The band comments on the song, “‘Death (My Becoming)’ was the third song written for Forgotten Sanctuary. Bringing flares of classic heavy metal like Mercyful Fate to 90s black metal; ‘Death (My Becoming)’ is filled with hooks, chants, and guitar solos and harmonies. Lyrically the song is about an unfulfilled life in search of a dream never found that lasted a lifetime.”
