NEWS: Receiver prepare for battle with “Unite”!

Confessing to a mutual love of the Sega classic Golden Axe by recording a rendition of “Wilderness” from it for their album, Cypriot Traditional Heavy Metal band Receiver have announced “Whispers Of Lore” will be the title of the record. Having been together more than a decade, the five piece fronted by Nikoletta Kyprianou addresses the ills of humanity within their lyrics, from social injustice, imperialism and the vein, nefarious degradation of the human condition that is war. Through fantasy and allegory, Receiver expresses these concerns, sailing on a voyage of battle and lore. “Unite” is the first single from that with pre-orders for the 10th November release via Gates of Hell Records available over at bandcamp.
