NEWS: Sleep In Motion offer “Terminal”!
They may have only started out in 2021 but Nottingham Post-Grunge trio Sleep In Motion have announced that 10th November will see the release of their debut album “Existential” having already got not one but two EPs in the bag. They’ve set out a manifesto to craft loud, distorted, groove-laden music that is dynamic while maintaining big hooks and heart felt emotive lyrics… and with influences as diverse as Alice In Chains and Avenged Sevenfold to name but a few, they’ve caught the imagination. A first single from the album has surfaced in “Terminal” which sets the scene, more are expected to follow swiftly…
Vocalist, Ryan Brooks highlights the motivation behind the release: “This is an album that had to be written. For me this album reflects my own realisation of my mortality, coming to terms with growing older and dealing with my own personal anxieties of death. Creating this album helped me to release my intrusive thoughts and pour them into a physical entity. I’d say this album was my own therapy. My own existential crisis”
