Vocalist Gabrielle George comments: “Survival is a very sensitive song. Reflecting the bad that people can do, the bad that people have done… trying to survive through bad memories and times when all they do is evolve around you. For me personally the song touches on various events in my life, the only way I can communicate the bad times is through lyrics.
I wanted survival to portray a gritty sound with a minor overlay of vocals and melody, the final outcome of the mix was made very nicely in this.
I am still young but, I believe I have experienced a lot, this song really shouts and screams my ups and downs. I just wanted the listeners to feel they weren’t alone and no judgement will ever be in the prymates space.”
