NEWS: Pulverise sharpen their blades for the Digital Execution!
Giving a voice to the voiceless and standing against online hatred, a year after they appeared at Rabidfest, Leeds Rap Metal outfit Pulverise have unveiled a new single in “Digital Execution” which was pre-produced by Billy Graziadei of Biohazard. It marks their second of 2023 following “Tomb Raiderz” as the band continue to build on the back of their 2018 album “Chaos Games“.
The band comment: “Digital Execution is a rap metal song about online cancel culture. Keyboard warriors hide behind social media, allowing them to be excessively nasty, typing horrible things that they wouldn’t dare say to someone’s face. They create an aggressive cancel culture, which is highly destructive to those who usually don’t deserve it. They don’t know each other but go to battle.
When did it stop being OK for people to have different opinions and still be respectful of each other? Having a different view doesn’t give people license to digitally execute someone. We have got to give the chance to learn and educate and give a voice to the people in middle (who are usually too intimidated to speak up because of the execution!)”
