NEWS: Cell Games continue the Nu-Metal revival!

Lovers of Nu-Metal acts like Crazy Town may find the flow of Irish outfit Cell Games an interesting prospect. Initially conceived as a hip-hop recording project in 2020, a year down the line the outfit evolved into a full band with a desire to play live and started hammering out the singles. Guitarist and vocalist, Tristan Carroll, remarks: “Jailbreak started life as a Maximillion Foy hip hop track. The song leant itself to being reworked into a nu-metal banger with loops and big, bouncy riffs. Tonči [Vrdoljak, drummer] and Deb [Finn-O’Brien bass] really lifted the song from good to great with some really cool rhythmic things that go in directions you wouldn’t think of immediately.”
