NEWS: Cognizance get lost in the shadows?

After “The Towering Monument” reared its ugly head alongside the announcement that they’d signed to Willowtip Records, Leeds Death Metal operation Cognizance have shared a second virgin sacrifice in “Shadowgraph” from their forthcoming third album “Phantazein“. Mixed and Mastered by Ronnie Björnström (Aeon, Blood Red Throne) and wrapped in artwork by Dan P Carter (Behemoth, Empire State Bastard), the affair is a concept record over eleven cuts. The promise is that it transcends the band’s previous boundaries and delves into the intricate interplay between art, obsession, and the profound influence of one’s environment.
